Us bloggers don’t often get together in big groups; unless we have a fantastic reason, of course. Having Trae and Jive in town? Totes awesome excuse.
This is what a collective noun of bloggers looks like:
Om nom nom – the food was okay at Bungalow 8, though their carbonated drinks left a lot to be desired!
It was great to catch up with so many bloggers – some are old friends, some were brand new to me. A bloggers meet can be a nervy experience, getting us out of our comfort zone and meeting people we know as names on the computer screen. It doesn’t take well to make connections and for the conversation to flow really (really) easily; it’s the unspoken camaraderie of typing out our thoughts on the internet.
I sat with people who blog about parenting, kids, grief, organisation, food, education, pop culture, cats, motivation, photography and everything in between. Such a diverse group of people and I had a ball.
I’ll see some of these guys again this weekend at Blogopolis. Some of them will even see me in my pyjamas. I’ve promised Zoey that I’ll do my best to not snore in our room!
