ranty-pantsThis morning on my drive to work, I was in a line of cars waiting at traffic lights.

There was an ambo screaming towards us from the other direction. Lights on, sirens blaring, on the wrong side of the road — you could see it coming from a mile off.

The ambo got to the intersection just as the lights turned green and TWO CARS IN FRONT OF ME JUST DROVE LIKE THEY DIDN’T NEED TO GIVE WAY TO AN AMBULANCE.

What the hell is wrong with people?

Then this afternoon I was listening to the stories of the bushfires surrounding Sydney and how cars were clogging main roads towards fires and drivers weren’t making way for firies to, you know, go fight big-ass life-threatening fires.

I know I’m gonna sound like my mum for saying this, but the NSW Government needs to run an awareness campaign on giving way to emergency services.

What the hell??

  2. It is the same way in the States. People do not care anymore. They just go about what is in their little worlds.

    1. When did the world get so selfish? *sigh*

      1. Because people have decided that the good of the one is better than the good of the many.

It is amazing what I see at work. It is all about getting your name out there and being noticed by that instead of your work.

When you get rewarded for being selfish, you do it.
