In the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed a lot of change in the air.

People are talking about changing their job, their career, their hair, their home, their relationship…

Have you noticed it too?

There’s been talk of change, of what happiness it might (or might not) bring, of its impact on their own little corner of the universe.

I feel like I’m surrounded by a populous who are getting ready to jump.

But not me, I’m not changing anything in my life any time soon. I’m quite happy to be the rock in the centre while everything else twirls around.

Are you changing anything big in your life atm?

  1. I am shit scared of jumping. I have been fighting it for weeks and tomorrow is when I have to make my final decision (if not tell others what my decision is). Far out, the thought of free fall is absolutely terrifying. How far is the jump? Only one way to find out.

  2. Yes.

    Quit my job.
Getting out more… in lots of ways.
    New friends, new loves.

  3. I’ve noticed it too. Can’t count how many long term relationships that have broken down in the past few weeks.

My mum has this theory about leap years. She was born in one & was less than an hour away from being a Feb 29 baby in fact. 90% of significant life events for her have happened in leap years. Like the extra day throws everything off course a bit. And I guess if you believe in the theory about what happens if a butterfly is killed then it makes sense that a whole extra day of activity would really screw things up

  5. I don’t know. My life is currently in this weird unsure zone. I made the big jump 6 months ago. Left my boyfriend of 6 years. Moved from Adelaide back ‘home’ to Sydney. Fell in love. Visit New Zealand for a month. Got my heart broken. Lost a whole lot of friends. Made new friends. And right now, i’m just trying to figure out what I want to make of my life. So, I guess, I’ve jumped, and am still mid flight, not sure where I am going to land!
