My BFF fell in love and married a fifth-generation farmer.

So she left the big smoke and now lives here with her husband and three kids. And dogs and ducks and chooks and sheep:

Sheep pens

It’s been over two years since I made the trek out west to visit. But I’m going in a few weeks to help celebrate BFF’s birthday and to hang out with the kids. (And for some much-needed fresh, country air)

Sunset

I’ve been told that Chloe (Miss 3) and Ali (Miss 2) will make me lots of “tea” and invite me to play in their new cubby house. If I’m good I’ll get to play in their paddling pool and run under the sprinkler. Can’t wait!

Fenceline

I’m going to be fairy godmother to Eliza (Miss 7months) when I go back in August. I’m hoping that I’ll be allowed to wear my fairy wings for the festivities!

It's me!

(Check me compacting the wool in this bale!)

  2. Yes. Hmm.
The lack of 3G will make life interesting. I don’t like IRL friends to think I’m addicted to the interwebs, but I may just have to use her satellite connection to get my minimum dosage ;)
