Did you all survive Xmas day? Xmas eve? Boxing day?

We didn’t decorate the house this year because we didn’t host anything, but I’d give my left foot to have a tree like this one:

We’ve officially finished our  family  Xmas gatherings and got royally spoilt on all fronts – cute kids, good food, cool pressies, great company, sugar, grog and fabulous views of Sydney harbour:

I was also given a hot tip on a great drink for a hot summer’s afternoon:

My brother-in-law tells me this is NOICE. I think it’s time I invested in a bottle of gin!

  1. Er… Not sure about that one! Gin and bitter lemon is a nice combo. Gin and tonic is the classic and gin and vermouth is pretty awesome- stirred, not shaken!

  3. hey, did you know that gin is considered a depressant??! something else the in-laws taught me.
    something tells me i’ll stick with more generic gin variants, not v ;)
