I got home from work this afternoon, ready to get ankle-deep in my to-do list.

But I took one look at my desk and suddenly felt claustrophobic

Last night I cracked it at my own laziness and chucked a whole pile of shiz on my chair. I’ve been spending the last week working at my desk with stuff sitting between me and the keyboard. I’ve been snuggling with notebooks, insurance paperwork, mortgage docs, vet estimates, cameras, catnip…. noice.

So I hid my to-do list and got stuck into cleaning all the crap up. I culled, filed, shoved into drawers, rearranged and shredded. It took over an hour, and even now I’m still fiddling here and there.

I even decluttered my pinboard, but I’ve kept spesh things that make me smile :)

I *should* work on my desk drawers next… but since I just filled them with stuff that was on my desk… I might just wait before I get stuck into that ;)

  1. Yay! Good job. I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago and it is SUCH a good feeling.

PS: There’s a little something on that pinboard that made me smile from ear to ear (and it wasn’t the “censored” sign) :D
