Lady week, we asked for a property inspection with our Real Estate agent.

We’ve been renting our penthouse for 3 ½ years without having had a single inspection, let alone having the initial inspection report!

So we spent the week cleaning and tidying the house in preparation for Thursday’s inspection.

It was postponed to Friday, but we were cool with that.

Long story short, we ended up at the RE Agent’s office yesterday, and or property manager gave us the paper work and said we could complete it ourselves.

So we did (and we’re about to go hand in the paperwork now).

So all that housework, all the cleaning and clearing (I even polished the balustrades) was for NOTHING!

But I guess it’s nice for us to enjoy it.

  2. Oh wow. We have rent inspections every three months and what I wouldn’t give to be able to do them myself. They are a serious pain in the behind.

    1. I’m SO GLAD that we have the laziest agents in Australia. I hate housework
